Biography

Maudry Laurent-Rolle, MD, PhD, is an infectious diseases specialist who focuses on treating patients with viral infections. She is experienced in managing conditions caused by viruses such as dengue, West Nile, and yellow fever.

As an assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Laurent-Rolle researches how viruses evade immune responses and how the host’s immune reactions can impact disease development and prevention. Her work aims to uncover strategies that could lead to new antiviral therapies.

Dr. Laurent-Rolle received her medical and doctoral degrees from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed her internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center, followed by an infectious diseases fellowship at Yale School of Medicine.
