Irene Haight, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Irene Haight, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a senior nurse practitioner specializing in nephrology. She focuses on managing conditions affecting the kidneys by taking a holistic approach to provide comprehensive care and treatments. Her experience in patient care has included the preoperative and postoperative care of kidney and liver transplant patients and donors, inpatient internal medicine care, and outpatient care of patients with chronic kidney disease and patients on dialysis.

“I am drawn to nephrology and Yale New Haven Health Services, as I appreciate being a part of a team known for providing excellent patient care and creating innovative solutions in the health system,” she says. “I’m incredibly proud of the work being done to help improve the care our patients receive both in my experience in inpatient and outpatient care.”

Dr. Haight earned her doctor of nursing practice degree from Sacred Heart University, where she also received her graduate and undergraduate degrees in nursing.
