Biography

Brittany Craiglow, MD, is a pediatric dermatologist and a leading expert in how alopecia areata, a chronic skin condition that causes hair loss, negatively affects health and quality of life in young patients. “It’s a devastating disorder. Research done by Dr. Craiglow and her colleagues has shown that people with alopecia areata are 39 percent more likely to develop generalized anxiety disorder or a major depressive disorder in their lifetimes.
