EMD Seminar Series: Linda Niccolai - "The Connecticut Emerging Infections Program: Thirty years of applied epidemiology for promoting population health"

In this presentation, Dr. Niccolai will provide a brief history of the CDC-funded Emerging Infections Program including its purpose, structure, and function. She will highlight work in three thematic areas – data for action, vaccine effectiveness and impact, and social/structural determinants of health – with illustrative examples from different programmatic areas. The presentation will conclude with a brief discussion of future directions.
