Karyn Bailey, MSW, works for the Yale Child Study Center supporting families of children with developmental delays. Her interests include adult learning and family adjustment with regard to early diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.
Bailey describes her work as fascinating and meaningful. “It’s wonderful to witness the strength and dedication of families as they navigate considerable challenges and grow in the process,” she says.
In addition to her clinical work, Bailey is the lead social worker in the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic at the Yale Child Study Center, and the director of social work training. She has additional expertise in special education rights and advocacy.
