John S. Giuliano, Jr., MD, treats patients in the pediatric intensive care unit at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital (YNHCH). He serves as medical director of Yale Medicine’s Pediatric Transport Program and Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Program. He is also associate medical director of the YNHCH Pediatric Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation Service and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

As an associate professor of pediatrics (critical care) at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Giuliano pursues research that he hopes will lead to better outcomes for children. “I investigate the body's response to infection in children as well as ways to improve how critically ill children are managed in the pediatric ICU and on transport,” he says.
