Dr. Kim graduated from Brown University for her Bachelor of Science and MD-PhD degrees. She was an intern at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a neurology resident at Partners Neurology (Massachusetts General and Brigham & Women’s Hospitals). She went on to complete a fellowship in neurocritical care at Partners. She joined the faculty at Yale New Haven Hospital and is dedicated to providing excellent patient care to those afflicted with acute brain injuries requiring a stay in the neurologic intensive care unit. Dr. Kim also conducts research to advance the care of patients with devastating neurologic injuries, including subarachnoid hemorrhage and traumatic brain injury.
