Farid Jadbabaie, MD

Farid Jadbabaie, MD, is a cardiologist specializing in cardiac imaging. He is the Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Connecticut Healthcare System.

Dr. Jadbabaie’s areas of expertise include structural heart disease, cardiac catheterization, stress echocardiography, non-invasive cardiac imaging, and intravascular ultrasound.

Dr. Jadbabaie’s research interests include heart valve function, irregular heartbeats, the impact of heart screenings on survival rates after stroke, and blood clots in the lung veins of patients with irregular heartbeats and previous lung surgery.

Dr. Jadbabaie is an associate professor of medicine at Yale University Medical School.
