Winchester Pediatric Tuberculosis Program

The Winchester Pediatric Tuberculosis (TB) Program is the only dedicated Pediatric TB outpatient program in the state of Connecticut. Dr. Thomas Murray is the Director of the Pediatric TB Program, which is funded by a grant from Yale New Haven Hospital through the Winchester Chest Clinic. Accordingly, there is no charge or cost above that which is covered by insurance for any patient coming to the clinic.

We evaluate and treat children who are asymptomatic with positive TB tests or those who have been exposed to an active case of TB. We also work closely with the Connecticut State Department of Health to provide comprehensive care for children with active tuberculosis.

The clinic visits, chest X-rays, diagnostic tests, and medications are supported by a grant from the Winchester Fund.

Appointments for the Pediatric Tuberculosis Program may be made by calling the Yale Medicine CARE center at 1-877-925-3637 (1-877-YALE MDS). The Pediatric Tuberculosis Clinic is located on the second floor of the West Pavilion of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, 1 Park St, New Haven, Connecticut.
