Clinical trials at Yale are vital to advancing research and bringing the newest treatments and technologies to patients as quickly and safely as possible.
Steady advances in therapy for childhood cancer have mainly occurred through the efforts of multi-institutional cooperative group clinical trials. Yale is a member of the Children’s Oncology Group, a National Cancer Institute-supported clinical trials group. This is the world’s largest organization devoted exclusively to childhood and adolescent cancer research. Our patients have wide access to investigational trials from this cooperative group, representing the latest treatment.
Investigational clinical trials are available for patients who qualify. If you would like to consider participating in a clinical trial, click here to for a database of available clinical trials or visit yalestudies.org to view available clinical trials or learn more about clinical research at Yale.
