Yale has long been a leader in research to enhance understanding of skin cancers and innovative new procedures and technologies in dermatologic surgeries that help our patients address their skin conditions and lead healthy lives. A team including Yale dermatologic surgeons discovered the basal cell cancer gene in 1996.
By participating in a clinical trial, you may get access to the most advanced procedures and treatments for skin cancer that may not otherwise be currently available. You will also play a role in the development of treatments that will help future generations of skin cancer patients.
