Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) Syndrome

Definition

Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome is a rare heart condition characterized by the presence of an extra electrical pathway in the heart. This abnormal pathway may cause electrical signals to bypass the atrioventricular (AV) node, leading to episodes of rapid heart rate (tachycardia) and other arrhythmias.
