Shoulder Bursitis

Definition

Shoulder bursitis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the bursa, a fluid-filled sac that provides cushioning and reduces friction between the bones, tendons, and muscles in the shoulder joint. This inflammation can result in pain, swelling, and limited range of motion in the affected shoulder. Common causes include repetitive motion, injury, or underlying medical conditions such as arthritis.
