Definition

Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP) is a skin condition that occurs in some pregnant women, characterized by itchy, red, raised bumps and patches on the skin. It typically develops during the third trimester and is most commonly found on the abdomen, particularly near stretch marks, but can also appear on the thighs, buttocks, and arms.
