Phimosis is a medical condition in which the foreskin of the penis is too tight to be fully retracted over the glans penis. This can cause discomfort, pain, and difficulty with urination and sexual activities. It can occur naturally in young children or as a result of infection, inflammation, or scarring in older individuals.
