Pelvic Ultrasound

Definition

Pelvic ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic imaging procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of the structures and organs within the pelvic region, including the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and bladder. It is commonly used to evaluate pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and other gynecological or urological issues.
