Neurocutaneous syndromes are a group of genetic disorders that affect the development and function of the nervous system, skin, and sometimes other organs. These syndromes are characterized by the presence of tumors in various parts of the body, including the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and skin, as well as other abnormalities such as birthmarks or skin discolorations.
