Definition

Metastatic colorectal cancer is a stage of colorectal cancer where the cancerous cells have spread from the colon or rectum to other parts of the body, such as the liver, lungs, or distant lymph nodes. This advanced stage of cancer is more challenging to treat and often requires a combination of therapies.
