Lymphangioma

Definition

Lymphangioma is a rare, benign tumor characterized by the abnormal growth of lymphatic vessels. These malformations can occur anywhere in the body but are most commonly found in the head, neck, and axillary regions. Lymphangiomas are usually present at birth or develop during early childhood and can cause swelling, discomfort, and potential complications depending on their size and location.
