Liposuction
Definition
Liposuction is a cosmetic surgical procedure that involves the removal of excess fat deposits from specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, and arms. It is performed using a thin tube called a cannula, which is inserted through small incisions in the skin and connected to a vacuum device that suctions out the fat.
