Gynecomastia (male breasts)

Definition

Gynecomastia is a condition characterized by the enlargement of breast tissue in males, often caused by an imbalance of estrogen and testosterone hormones. It can affect one or both breasts and may occur during infancy, puberty, or adulthood. Gynecomastia is generally not a serious medical issue but can cause psychological distress and physical discomfort.
