Definition

Gastric cancer, also known as stomach cancer, is a malignant condition characterized by the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the lining of the stomach. It can develop in any part of the stomach and may spread to other organs, such as the liver, lungs, or lymph nodes. Risk factors include age, gender, diet, and certain medical conditions.
