Eyelid Melanoma

Definition

Eyelid melanoma is a rare form of skin cancer that develops in the pigment-producing cells (melanocytes) of the eyelid. It can appear as a pigmented lesion, growth, or mole on the eyelid and may change in size, shape, or color over time. Early detection and treatment are crucial to prevent metastasis to other parts of the body.
