Extrahepatic bile duct cancer is a rare cancer that occurs in the bile ducts outside the liver that carry bile from the liver to the gallbladder and small intestine. The cancer can develop in any part of the extrahepatic bile ducts and may cause blockage, leading to jaundice and pain.
