Definition

Esophageal stenosis is a condition characterized by the narrowing of the esophagus, which is the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach. This narrowing can cause difficulty swallowing, chest pain, and regurgitation of food. It can result from various causes, including congenital abnormalities, scarring from acid reflux, or tumors.
