A dislocated patella, also known as a dislocated kneecap, is a condition in which the patella (kneecap) moves out of its normal position within the knee joint. This can result from a direct blow, sudden twisting motion, or muscle imbalances, causing pain, swelling, and difficulty in moving the knee.
