Cryoglobulinemia

Definition

Cryoglobulinemia is a medical condition characterized by the presence of abnormal proteins called cryoglobulins in the blood. These proteins clump together at cold temperatures, leading to restricted blood flow and inflammation in affected blood vessels. Cryoglobulinemia can be associated with various underlying diseases, such as infections, autoimmune disorders, or malignancies.
