Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy

Definition

Cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) is a degenerative spinal condition characterized by the narrowing of the spinal canal in the neck region, leading to compression of the spinal cord. This compression can result in neurological deficits, such as weakness, numbness, and impaired coordination, primarily affecting the arms and hands.
