Central Nervous System (CNS) Germinoma

Definition

Central nervous system (CNS) germinoma is a rare type of germ cell tumor that arises in the brain or spinal cord. These tumors are typically found in the pineal or suprasellar regions and can cause various neurological symptoms. CNS germinomas are generally responsive to treatment, including surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy.
