Definition

Bone sarcomas are a group of rare malignant tumors that originate in the bone and surrounding connective tissues. These cancers can affect any bone in the body and are characterized by the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells. The most common types of bone sarcomas include osteosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma, and chondrosarcoma.
