Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL)

Definition

Anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) is a rare type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that develops from T-cells in the lymphatic system. ALCL is an aggressive form of cancer that can spread quickly if left untreated. Treatment options may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, or stem cell transplantation.
