Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma (ASPS)

Definition

Alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS) is a rare, slow-growing malignant tumor that primarily affects the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles and connective tissues. It is most commonly found in the extremities, particularly in the legs, but can also occur in other parts of the body. ASPS is characterized by its unique histological appearance and often affects young adults and adolescents.
