PREDICT Study : Phenotyping RElatives of persons with Diabetes with CGM and Tests of beta cell function and health (PREDICT): an integrated longitudinal assessment of deep metabolic phenotyping and CGM metrics in youth at risk for T1D

  • Study HIC#:2000034661
  • Last Updated:12/11/2023

The purpose of this research study is to understand the mechanisms that drive the progression from non-symptomatic – early stages – of type 1 diabetes (T1D) to symptomatic T1D.

We will ask you to participate to three different tests that will be performed two times (once at the beginning and a second time after 12 months) and to wear a sensor four times during the study period.

The total compensation for the study is up to $1500. Additionally, funds will be available for each inpatient visit to cover for transportation to the study, hotel admission, parking and meal reimbursement.

The study is supported by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
