Ventricular Tachycardia

Definition

Ventricular tachycardia is a potentially life-threatening heart condition characterized by a rapid and irregular heartbeat originating from the ventricles, the lower chambers of the heart. This abnormal heart rhythm can lead to inadequate blood flow to the body, causing symptoms such as dizziness, shortness of breath, and chest pain. In severe cases, it may result in cardiac arrest or sudden death.
