Testicular Sperm Extraction (TESE)

Definition

Testicular sperm extraction (TESE) is a surgical procedure in which sperm is retrieved directly from the testicles of men who have no sperm in their ejaculate due to blockage or other issues. This technique is often used in conjunction with in vitro fertilization (IVF) to help couples achieve pregnancy when male infertility is a factor.
