Supravalvular Aortic Stenosis

Definition

Supravalvular aortic stenosis is a rare congenital heart condition characterized by the narrowing of the aorta above the aortic valve, leading to restricted blood flow from the left ventricle to the rest of the body. This can result in increased pressure on the left side of the heart and reduced oxygen supply to various organs.
