A spinal cord tumor is an abnormal growth of cells within or surrounding the spinal cord, which can disrupt the normal functioning of the spinal cord and cause various neurological symptoms. These tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous) and may originate in the spinal cord itself or spread from other parts of the body.
