Paget-Schroetter syndrome, also known as effort thrombosis, is a rare condition characterized by the formation of a blood clot in the deep veins of the upper extremity, typically affecting the subclavian or axillary veins. It often occurs in young, active individuals and can be triggered by repetitive upper arm movements or strenuous activities.
