Malignant Rhabdoid Tumor

Definition

Malignant rhabdoid tumor (MRT) is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that primarily affects infants and young children. It is characterized by the presence of rhabdoid cells, which are abnormal cells with distinctive features. MRT can occur in various parts of the body, including the kidneys, brain, and soft tissues.
