Definition

Lumbar radiculopathy is a condition characterized by irritation or compression of the nerve roots in the lumbar region of the spine, leading to pain, numbness, or weakness in the lower back, buttocks, and legs. It can result from various causes, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, or injury to the lumbar spine.
