Locally Advanced Breast Cancer (LABC)

Definition

Locally advanced breast cancer (LABC) is a stage of breast cancer characterized by a tumor that has grown significantly and spread to nearby tissues, such as the skin, chest wall, or lymph nodes, but has not yet metastasized to distant organs. It is considered more advanced than early-stage breast cancer but not as advanced as metastatic breast cancer.
