Lichen Nitidus

Definition

Lichen nitidus is a rare skin condition characterized by the appearance of tiny, flesh-colored, shiny papules on the skin. These papules are usually asymptomatic and tend to cluster together, commonly affecting the arms, legs, trunk, and genital area. The exact cause of lichen nitidus is unknown, but it is believed to be an inflammatory response of the immune system.
