Galeazzi Fracture

Definition

A Galeazzi fracture is a type of forearm fracture involving a break in the radius bone near the wrist, accompanied by dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint (the joint between the two bones of the forearm, the radius and the ulna). This injury typically occurs due to a fall on an outstretched hand or direct trauma to the forearm.
