Complete heart block, also known as third degree atrioventricular (AV) block, is a medical condition characterized by the disruption of electrical signals between the atria and ventricles of the heart. This results in the atria and ventricles beating independently, leading to an insufficient blood flow and potentially life-threatening complications.
