Cervical Polyp

Definition

Cervical polyp is a condition characterized by the presence of small, elongated growths on the cervix, which is the lower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina. These growths are usually benign (non-cancerous) and can result from various causes, including chronic inflammation, an abnormal response to increased estrogen levels, or clogged blood vessels.
