Bucket Handle Meniscus Tears

Definition

A bucket handle meniscus tear is a type of knee injury that occurs when the inner part of the meniscus, a C-shaped cartilage in the knee joint, tears in a way that resembles a bucket handle. This type of tear can cause the torn fragment to displace and potentially block normal knee motion, leading to pain, swelling, and limited range of motion.
