Blood Filtering Therapy: A Man Will Be Around to See His Grandchildren

Two years ago, Wes McGee’s entire body was covered in an itchy red rash. The rash was a symptom of cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma (CTCL), a common blood cancer that affects the skin.

This short documentary follows McGree on one of his long-distance commutes to Yale Medicine to receive a special type of treatment called photopheresis. Under the watchful eye of Michael Girardi, MD, McGee’s symptoms have disappeared, and he is now in remission.
