Martin E. Katz, MD, is a medical oncologist and hematologist with over 40 years of broad clinical experience.

He enjoys interacting with patients and resolving their medical problems. “I enjoy the intellectual challenges of medical oncology and hematology, and applying both new scientific information and research advances to patient care,” he says. “I am excited about the rapid advances in these fields because much of the information that comes from basic research and clinical trials can be translated into improved patient care.”

These are good reasons for patients to feel confident and reassured, Dr. Katz says. “There is always a treatment for your diagnosis, and I am always available to help you and your family.” Dr. Katz has appeared in Connecticut Magazine’s “Top Docs” lists.
