Jennifer Dodge
Biography
Jennifer Dodge, PA, provides care for a variety of gastrointestinal disorders. She has special interests in general gastroenterology, colon cancer screening, and capsule endoscopy, a noninvasive procedure that involves the patient swallowing a vitamin-sized camera that takes pictures to help diagnose small bowel disorders.
An experience working with a physician assistant when she was first studying medicine inspired her to pursue this career path. “I liked the breadth of practice and flexibility of being a physician assistant,” she says.
After receiving her master’s degree, Dodge worked at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in the Department of Internal Medicine. She subsequently worked in community gastroenterology practice for 21 years. “I most enjoy the long-term relationships I have been able to build with my patients,” she says.
