Biography

Anthony Abou Karam, MD, is a radiology and biomedical imaging specialist with specialized training in neuroradiology. His areas of interest are epilepsy, brain tumor, and stroke imaging, as well as image-guided procedures in the spine, head, and neck areas.

Dr. Karam says he has always had a passion for brain anatomy. He says his aim is to “make a difference in patient treatment and management by finding pathology on imaging,” and he has found it rewarding to be able to work with the large variety of cases and rare diseases he encounters while working with patients at Yale.

An assistant professor of clinical radiology and biomedical imaging, Dr. Karam has research interests in the brain, central nervous system neoplasms, and stroke.
